I noticed a Walnut Cookie recipe contributed by Jenny Myatt, Ocracoke Island Realty in the Island Cookbook and it called for 1/2 cup of Golden Crown Syrup.
I have been trying to find this syrup to use in a pie recipe I have but have been unable to do so. I would appreciate your letting me know where I can purchase this syrup.
Thanks so much for your help and I will look forward to receiving an e-mail reply from you.

When my fiancée and I visited Ocracoke we fell in love with the famous fig cake, so much so that we ordered dozens of jars of fig preserves from Betsy Midgett (if memory serves me correctly) and had a baker create an Ocracoke Wedding Fig Cake when we married in October of 2000; the cake was extremely popular with our guests.
Now I would like to see if there is someone on the island who could bake 24 small/medium sized cakes, box them up individually and send them to my best clients.
Can you put me in touch with someone who might be able to do this and interested in doing so?
