10 lbs peeled shrimp
Batter for shrimp:
4 eggs
4 cups milk
2 Tbsp baking powder
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add enough flour to thicken like pancake batter. Pour over cleaned shrimp and mix. Roll in flour and fry in deep fat until golden brown or when floats on top.

Melt 2 sticks of butter.
Blend 1 can Rotel tomatoes, 1 onion, 1/2 bell pepper – Liquify. Pour blended mixture in butter and simmer 45 minutes stirring occasionally. Add 3 cans cream of mushroom soup. Simmer 10 minutes. Add shrimp and onion tops to gravy. Cook 20 minutes and serve over rice.

8 oz medium shells
3 Tbsp oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1-16oz can creamed corn
1 lb hamburger
salt and pepper
2-8oz cans tomato sauce
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Saute onion and green peppers in oil. Add hamburger and brown. Drain fat. Cook shells. Add to meat mixture, plus tomato sauce, corn and seasonings. Mix well. Put into 2 qt casserole. Top with grated cheese and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until hot and bubbly.

Mix 3 cups four, 2 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice, 2 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp salt in a medium bowl. Beat 2 sticks softenened butter, 1 cup each sugar and packed brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add 4 eggs; beat well. Add 1 can (15 oz) Libbys 100% pure pumpkin and 1 tsp vanilla. Gradually combine flour and pumpkin mixtures; mix well. Glaze: Melt 1/4 cup butter in a small saucepan; stir in 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp water. Bring to boil. Remove from heat; stir in 1 tsp rum extract. Place 3/4 cup chopped pecans on bottom of greased 12 cup bundt pan. Pour batter over nuts. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes or until inserted wooden pick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Make holes in cake with long pick; pour half of glaze over cake. Let stand 5 minutes. Invert onto plate and repeat with remaining glaze. Cool.

2 cup cooked chicken, cubed
2 cups celery, thinly sliced
1 cup toasted bread cubes, croutons
1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped
1/2 tsp grated onion
1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 cup toasted bread cubes, croutons
Combine all but the last 2 ingredients. Pile lightly into casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and bread cubes. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until bubbly.

6 tart apples like Granny Smith, peeled and sliced
3 medium to large white onions, peeled and sliced
dark brown sugar
ground cinnamon
ground nutmeg
1/4 pound butter
Butter 2-qt casserole that is at least 2 inches deep. Place layer of apples in casserole. Place layer of onions on top of apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, small sprinkling of nutmeg, and squart slices of butter. Repeat, ending with a layer of apples on top. Sprinkle top layer with cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg and butter. Bake at least 1 hour at 350 degrees.

3 tubes of Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
1 Bowl of sugar
1 Bowl of cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Cut each biscuit into quarters, then roll in sugar then cinnamon. Place in tube pan. In separate pan, bring to a boil the brown sugar and butter then pour over biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes the top of the bread will be firm when done. Remove bread after letting cool for 15 minutes.

2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 1/2 lbs turnips
1 Tbsp chopped thyme
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp savory
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmigano-Reggiano
Melt butter in oven proof 12″ heavy skillet, then cool. SLice turnips paper thing then arrange 1/3 of slices, overlapping tightly, in skillet, keep remaining slices covered with dampened paper towels. Sprinkle with about a 1/3 of thyme, savory, kosher salt and cayenne. Make 2 more layers. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cook, coovered over medium heat until underside is browned, about 10 minutes. Add cream and cook, covered until center is tender, 20 to 25 minute. Sprinkle evenly with cheese then bake, ucovered, until golden and bubbling, 10 to 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
**The seasoning can be a bit strong I like to use a but less. I got this recipe from Gourmet magazine**
